I think he is talking about the instrument cluster like the speedo and the tacho. IN the press photo its got like those two barrels around it akin to the Golf GTI/R etc, where as in the photo at the dealer it was just flat like say in a polo.

I am pretty sure it is all in the angle of the photos. Have a look at the first photo in post 2... the Barrel / Bezel is certainly there... although I will have a close look tomorrow when I take an RB Roc for a run, I am pretty sure they have a Golf R there as well.

Until the Roc passes you with the driver smiling so hard as he is having a better time.

The area around the gear shift is also different
Similar or same as mark v golf I think
Pity no leather option - it needs it to class it up that little bit more

Also the pic on page 2 at the top is of a golf not a sirocco - note the door trim as well

That is the best looking car built by VW to date. Love it in Blue, will take it in Silver though.

Only to be surpassed in beauty in 2013 by the ConceptSport when it is released ..... Now that will be 2.0T with RWD !!!! and less weight than Golf ...... VW Concept BlueSport - Photos

Not sure on the MkV but definitely the same as EOS Centre console.. which I mentioned before... same as the Centre Vents and Audio area....

When you see it in real life it doesn't need leather.. at least in my opinion anyway.. and there is always after market which would be a cheaper option anyway... Plus the Roc gets heated seats as standard.

I never said it was a Scirocco... it was to be used as a comparison.. as there is very little difference...

In the end it is good that both vehicles are different.. there will be plenty of Golf R is better than Roc R or visa versa just as there was between GTi and R.. the big difference is the Roc is faster

    Quite a looker.

But I find it amusing at its display they have lots of kids running around....
    given it's a 2 seater....

    Hey Phaeton,

is the window switch like the pugs of old?

Ie, down in the door pocket? seems that way in the images.
