Looks hot Loon with those new wheels... Got to get her sitting lower i think though... When you get the 1.8T in there you'll be a sure sleeper...

By the way how is your Mk1 going...

    Cheers James

Thanks James. I`m pretty happy with the front height, but would love the rear a touch lower. I need to put the back seat in and take it for a burn. If it doesnt settle lower, I may chave to chop a spring or two

I like the idea of a stock looking exterior and interior and the 20VT for the surprise factor.

Got a new fuel pump for the Mk1 today, I`m hoping that will solve the issues with it. Update soon

So took the old girl for a good run last weekend and had a ball chucking her through the twisties.

Showed these new cars a thing or two down the mountain

However, the brakes are pretty average, so i took the opportunity this week to put on the 280mm stoppers I sourced from Tim and his engineer friend.

    Before

    After

    Through the wheel

Changed the whole hub including rotor and caliper.
All was sweet with a wheel alignment

Car stops heaps better and will do even better with a proper bleed and some better back brakes.... Sooon

Had a bit of time left, so wanted to swop the old rooted dash for the uncracked one I got from the UK last year that has been waiting in the shed.

    Old one with cover. YUK

    Old and New

    Originale

Didnt quite get it finished, so no final shots, but it looks heaps better, will update when I finish it.

Thanks Brackie, I sure did, that pic was taken earlier. All nuts were on and tight and then the centrecap was fitted.
