True. And I can see myself swanning round in it.

The Mk1 is Oak Green and very shiny though. Its a personal challenge to finish it, but what will I then do with it???

When I started it 3 years ago, I was looking for a 2 door that was rust free and they were / are all rooted. I found the 5 door with 70,000 original kms and no rust. Thinking that for the kids etc the other doors would be useful, I jumped in. It has been fully pulled apart and is being rebuilt without compromise, but its very time consuming and I cant see the kid(s) ever coming out in it with me.

I should have just brought my Scirocco Storm out here with me, as that is the best car ever. The Scirocco I have here needs a bit of TLC and then it will be awesome and will turn more heads than a 5 door golf and will drive like a proper sports car.

Maybe its just winter depression, but I have too many projects and too little time. Some mornings I just wanna dump them all. If anyone wants a 5 door, professionally resprayed oak green pm me and twist my arm!

Got some new shoes for the Rocco today.
Went shopping for BBS Mags and the guy sold me a pup, didn`t have any after I drove an hour to get there.
I ended up getting a set of 16 x 7.5 5 Spoke Borbet rims with a deep dish.
Off a BMW E30. Came home, bolted em up in the dark. Perfect fir, Hubcentric and everything.
They look sick. Too dark for Pics. Tomorrow
