So I have a unique problem I got the car delivered unregistered from interstate - so there is no plates (see image). AND there dont seem to be any holes on the rear plate section to mount a rego plate.
Any suggestions on what to do? I'm not really keen in drilling holes in brand new car.....
some 3M product maybe?

Hey mate, wicked car there!!!
Not sure what style of plates you are putting on, however I have had Euro plates on my cars over th epast few years.
I have not ever used a screw...
For me the only way is with Scotch (3M) Permanent Outdoor Mounting Tape.
You can get this from Bunnings / Masters for about $10 per roll (25.4mm x 1.51m)
All you need is two lengths and it i there for the lng haul!
Just make sure you leave some room clear to lever off if you ever want to get the plates off the car in the future.
And don't worry about rain or the weather, I have never had one fall off.
Just my 2 cents...

That's great and exactly what I was hoping for OPE! I'll check it out . Was thinking just standard Vic slimline plates. Should I get a non standard color? Black with white text?
I'd go with euro plates personally, I wish I had them on my car (bora) just so it fills the massive number plate tub on the back!!

Another +1 on Euro Plates. The hole in the bumper is exactly the right size to take an Euro Plate.
A huge -100 on slimline Euro Plates however - seriously, what's the point. Sure, some people think slimline plates are cool, but if you've got a European car, you've got a huge hole in the bumper to fill, and a euro plate is exactly the right size - it just looks right. Slimline euro plates however look rather odd, you might as well just go with slimline Aussie plates and be done with it.
Another +1 for 3M Double-sided tape - don't go overboard on it though or you'll never get the number plate off again.
