Thanks, I am making some headway now.
Went through all the fuses replacing them and or cleaning ends.
Most things work now.......eexcepttt....rear washer, demister, and the right blinker is a bit dull. [funny that it works better on the Trouble light switch...]
Might try to bleed the brakes tomorrow - see if my son can spare 5 mins

I doubt it, it doesn't affect the safety of the vehicle at all, so i doubt you'd need it for RWC. There's nothing on my old RWC's that would indicate the need for this.

having said that, you'd kick yourself if it came down and bopped you on the head one day.

Swap one of them for a golf MK 1 unit, changing both makes it too hard to close...

The scirocco ones run at a lower pressure than the golf pieces.
    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

    Cheers,
    Grant...

    Excellent progress mate!

Just go to ASV for a blueslip, I had bald tires, no rear seatbelts, no visors, missing trim and an untsable misfiring idle which backfired and they just passed my VR6. Just be sure to pay up-front for it though

" You'd kick yourself " ... doubt I'd be able to kick myself - would probably be in hospital.
    - rear wiper , Rubber spoiler add to the weight of this Hatch - I get a work-out each time I hold it open.
