    How many corrados in Australia?

How many corrados are there in Australia? I have two here in New Zealand (both 1990 16v) and am selling one, thought that selling in Australia might be an option. VW prices seem sky high over there? I wonder what a corrado would sell for over there?

    Cheers

    There is;
    1 G60, mine
    1 VR6 in Sydney
    1 VR6 Storm in Adelaide
    1 VR6/SLC in Queensland
    1 G60 in Queensland
1 Corrado that is being converted to 24V in Queensland
A possibility of one running LPG in Queensland

As far as i know anyway.

If you were to sell yours here, expect to pay a fair bit for shipping, customs, compliance etc. That could cost up to $8000.

If i were you i'd advertise it and say that you'll do all the the shipping and paperwork etc if someone agreed to pay for all of that before shipping it here.

    Wish i could afford it!!

    Any pics ??

I think someone was trying to sell one a fair while back, and he was asking about 20G's, which is probabl a fair price for such a rare car. i'm not sure what model it was though.

Probably wouldn't work out tooo great, just cause the shipping and compliancing costs so much.

Cheers for that Carpoid and others! Check out my 'vBPicGallery' for photos, unfortunately they are all old photos - Blue one now has Bilstein suspension with Jamex lowering springs, am still on the hunt for some 15" BBS RS rims for the blue one! Black one is for sale at the moment, but would consider selling the blue one at the right price! Will try and get some good pics up this weekend of both cars.

That one has been sold now, its the VR6/SLC in Queensland.

Yeah it probably wouldn't work out to make a good profit out of selling the 16V over here after the costs, Tristan would also have to fly over here to sort out paperwork and compliance, and that can take a while sometimes.

    Hi VeeDub,
I think Carpoid is right. There are only about 6 or 7 here. I bought mine over last year from the UK.

Hey VeeDub are you allowed to line in Oz as a Kiwi? The easiest way would be to say yo want tolive in Oz and apply to bring a Corrado as a personal import. No restriction if you have owned it for a year. You could fly over and get it from the ship and get it complianced and registered, then sell it to one of many eager buyers over here

Would this make it any cheaper? I got a quote yesterday (just the first company I came across so won't be the cheapest) but it was something like NZD$7k roughly before the car was registered in oz.
