And even though she is only 157cm she thinks it is hard to get into because the seat is too low.
    Damn cup holders! hahaha

Its amazing what a females perspective of a decent car is.

I couldnt buy the following because my partner didnt like them for various reasons: Anything BMW, Mercedes, Porsche.

I could buy a WRX STi, Audi TT-S, Golf R and the Scirocco R
Scirocco R - Candy White, Sat Nav,tinted windows, H&R Springs, 19x9 ETA BETA Tettsut X Black rims.

Audi S3 Sedan - Riviera Blue Exclusive paint, PP2, H&R Super Sport springs

I'm getting rid of the Bimmer in part because the wife won't drive it. She won't have a bar of a Porsche either. Mercedes I could getvaway with as long as it was a C class.

Seat too low? Surely VW have a booster seat option.

Cup holders- weirdly I agree with this. I can't say I've used a upholder anytime in the last 10 years but I think they should be hidden. Just like a Corolla.

Arriving April 17 Audi S3 sedan, Panther black, S-tronic, PP2, pano, matrix lights, assistance pack, 40:20:40 seats, mirror pack, light inlays

I just saw this and had to comment, as I am a female and this is my perspective of the marque's your partner said no to:

BMW - It would most likely have to be a 3 series, as the current 1 series doesn't have any decent engines (prior to the 125i being released). I dislike 3 series with a passion as it's just "meh!"

Mercedes - Only when I either a) retire or b) give up the will to live. Most likely it would have to be a combination of the 2 before I put down my own money for a Mercedes.

Porsche - Not a Boxter, not ever a Boxter. So we're talking Cayman or 911. I would prefer to keep all my organs for the time being. So... not yet.

I don't see any issue in her rationale here
MY12 Scirocco R - slightly not stock

The 3 might look "meh" - it's all about personal taste - but drive it. You'll like it. A lot. Take a 335i for a good thrash and trust me, you'll come away grinning from ear to ear. "Meh" will not be on your mind.

ROFL! Couldn't agree more - with the possible exception of a C63 AMG. Any retiree who chooses to put down his or her hard-earned for one of those gets a thumbs-up from me!

I took the 335 for a spin. It was very nice, don't get me wrong. I just think if I was spending that kind of money, and could stretch a little more, I'd get an M3 instead.

Valid point. Yes, I would take a C63 AMG (Black Edition or not). Though, that is laying down some serious cash, and would mean I would have to cut back on my discretionary handbag spending

I have heard that children are quite a saleable commodity at times... they are also replaceable unlike internal organs...
