Clutch is Slipping - need replacement 24xxxk

    Hi Guys,

So 24,000 km's and my clutch is on its way out, noticing when cold (70-85 degrees oil temp) in high gear (4,5,6) Heavy load when turbo kicks in my clutch is slipping, curious even with the stage 1, should this be expected? The slipping seems to be less evident after car is properly warmed up.

Seems strange with such low K's.

APR stage 1 with VWR intake,

Clutch is not usually covered by warranty as wear and tear item however it shouldn't be failing this young.. but happy to be told other wise.

    Regards

Shouldn't be slipping this soon unless you ride it, slip it, dump it a lot. My polo is stage one and tracked a lot, still at 65k it's not yet slipping. I've never dragged the car and extremely rare to launch it, but it has done thousands of kms on the track.

Dragging/launching the car will kill it quite quickly though.

Try get it under warranty, not likely from VW... Toyota used to replace Hilux and Landcruiser clutches under warranty at least once before challenging it (my brother worked at a dealership).
Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII
    Daily: 2010 VW Jetta Highline
Gone but not forgotten: 08 Polo GTI

Yeah i never ride the clutch, my foot stays completely off the pedal unless i'm changing gears, have always been anal about this - I even put it in neutral when sitting at the lights for too long instead of hold my clutch in.

Define launching? I give it a bit of a boot of the mark sometimes but I find the I get too much wheel spin(even with new Miche PSS) in 1st anyway so usually do rolling launch as second gear seems alot funner... but this is once in a blue moon... I'm no hoon
