It was negotiated as part of the deal of ordering through them that they would ship it to me. I noted all of the damage on the shipping company paperwork also.

If you're in Brisbane now? take it to Shipstones and no one else.

Does the car have the god ugly front plate holder like my R ?

If so, tell the dealer you would like the bumper repaired and have the repairer remove the VW plate holder and fill the holes and respray it ;)

They will typically respray the entire bumper of a CW car to get a match with the texture/orange peel. Should be matrix layered.

All the best with it (you will scrape it again though).

There are others on this forum who have had a similar experience as I had with Shipstones.

I've had two very impressive results from Shipstones, and on that basis I would happily recommend them.

It's like anything, you only hear from the people who have bad experiences. You don't hear from the thousands who are satisfied.
