Officially according to VW the times are 6.2 sec for the manual and 6.0 for the DSG. Some say that VW tend toward the conservative when quoting performance numbers so real world perhaps a little quicker?
I see a bunch of 0-100k times and wanted to ask what is the definitive answer.
With launch control and full noise what is the 0-100 time

I reckon you could get it down to 5.6 or 5.7 with a good launch.
Question for me is how much wheel spin do people get with a tune. Any feedback from anyone who has a tune? Does the XDL help out at all?
I've seen some vids of a stage 2+ Revo tune claiming to hit 100 in 4.4, but to me it looks like the wheels are still spinning when it hits 100.

my mate has one with a BSR tune, his got a manual its goes like a rocket but it does get a fair bit of wheel spin in first gear
a rolling start and should be fine
Real world it feels about as quick as my 135i. It does a 0-100 according to BM in 5.3 sec. Certainly once its rolling as Njay suggests.

Perhaps the answers are available on YouTube (there are plenty of 0-X VW videos there).
