    ZEGRMN - VR6 Build

Finally picked up the VR6, which involved a run from Geelong to Wodonga with the brother in law to get his Bora 4-Motion, But dad drove us up in the new GTi so that made it worth it =) (we love the performance VeeDubs)

    So the build begins:
As im more of a nerd than a gear head the stereo had to be first port of call. Unfortunately for me, one of the previous owners had butchered the wiring behind the OEM stereo. This led to a few hours of wire tracing, testing and then finally the install. Because of all that, only the splits and the head unit went in today.

Stripping out the interior after getting it back from the detailer.

Check out the crusty plastic....looking forward to sorting that out with the heat gun!!

Thats right, my girlfriend enjoys working on cars with me....could not be happier =)

Headunit was a breeze to remove....eventually. Thanks to the missus'hair clips.

Creative wiring. For anyone who dosent have an understanding of electronics....DONT BUTCHER YOUR WIRES!!! its super annoying for the next owner. just buy the $12 adpater!!!

What nice neat wiring looks like.

    Ear Candy

On the eigth day god created the install doctor website....then rested.

    Ohhhh yeh

The worlds most confusing tweeter setup

Adam convincing me this is the proper way to use a multimeter.....

Trying to dry my freshly laundered seats in beutiful geelong winter. Dads new toy behind.

Exhausted.....but plenty of CHOONS to listen too. (he's a dentist so i cant show you his face....the aussies should get that one)
Next up.....amp....fibreglass....subs....suspension...( insert endless list here)
