Is your MK3 (VR6) extremely hard to push?

What does a VR6 actually weigh?
Quarter tank, automatic trans, tyres aren't flat... but it shouldn't be as hard as it is... Should it?
Yes, it's in neutral. No, the handbrake isn't on.
Even with dad helping me push it, it's still excruciatingly hard to move.
Maybe simply a lack of lubrication somewhere?

I have pushed mine out of a driveway with a slight slope (working against me) by myself, it wasn't easy by any stretch, but with two it's not bad.

you havent recently painted your brake calipers have you?
when i painted mine the hand brake stuck on and i had to clean a bit of paint off from around the caliper where the cable connects.

Depending on how long it's been sitting and whether it's outside, could be a little surface oxidation on the discs making the handbrake or pads/calipers stick a little. try some brake kleen or even WD - just remember to work the brakes while driving slowly when you drive the car again.

Could also be a bit of oxidation making your wheel bearings a little sticky depending how old/rooted they might be.

Took me a few glances to realise that you weren't just spamming pictures of your car. That's about the weight I was expecting.

I've never found a car as hard to push as this one.
My Mercedes weighs something like 1600kg, and is still easier to push on my own. The Golf took me and my dad pushing (neither of us are little), and my mum using all her strength to steer without the P/S.

Slight slope, grass, and brake disc rust and just about everything else you can think of is working against me now, but it's only barely harder than before.

No idea hey, theres no brand markings on them anywhere. Incidentally they're for sale, as I've upgraded to OZ ultraleggeras. PM me if your keen.
