just look around on the market mate, there's many a cheap mk3 to be had.

thing is, people always assume that a cheap car is a bad one, but its not always the case, particularly as the cars get older. you really just need to have a good sense of what to look for and go and inspect the vehicles.... sometimes people sell a good car with rough paint for cheap. other times people want to charge the earth for a car that looks great on the outside but drives really badly.
