Woo Hoo my VR6 arived today!

Finaly after what seemed like forever (a week) my MK3 Golf VR6 arrived from Sydney today

This is actualy the first time Ive seen the car in the flesh... It definately needs some lovin and a couple of things need to be sorted out but all in all Im pretty happy and the missus loves it..

It has a bit of a hesitation when getting back on throttle which is a pain in the bum so will have to figure out what the issue is and the hood lining is just starting to come a away which I will sort out myself and the side indicators have broken clips so I'll need some new 1's... Hey its not a new car though so I was expecting to have to do some things..

But for now Im just stoked to have a VR6 in my garage

I havent got any pics yet but stay tuned, Im away interstate for the day tomorrow but will get some up when I get back.

Congrats on the purchase mate.

Possibly coilpacks? (It's cerainly a GUESS) explaining your slight hesitation issue.

Hope to see some sweet photos. Nice commitment freighting one interstate too!

Patience people pics are coming...lol...

The car will have to wait until probably the weekend before I can get my hands dirty and have a good look...

I ended up bringing a car in from interstate because I couldnt find 1 localy, the only 1 advertised that I could find in sa was a pig of a thing, and the dude was a bit suss, its advertised as a private sale but the guy is a dealer...just too much shonk for me

Ive bought cars from interstate before so had confidence I would find a decent car, and i sold cars for a few years so it helps if you know the right questions to ask I guess.
