windows not working!!Need help!!

my drivers side power window button only lets the front passengers window go down but not up, the drivers side of the button does nothing at all doesn't even draw power.

The front passengers button works fine makes the window go up and down, so i think the regulators would be fine....

Need help cause ive never dealt with VW electrics (besides the stereo)...I borrowed another switch but that didn't help..

It also just died unlike my back windows which killed over time..

Frank you obviously have the window curse try and get them changed, that doesn't sound to healthy looks like one of the wires may have crossed or just given up.

Window switch has given up mate , PM Loon im sure he will have some switches .

i tired another button the but it had the same effect...ill check the connector going into the door and might even take the door trim of to check the wires there on the weekend if its not hot...

Can anyone think of anything else i can check, rather do it all in one hit..

Motor is probably on its way out. Works with leaast resistance going down, but under load wont go back up.
