Window Regulators - Cheap OEM

Hi All,

Not sure if this has been posted before in here as I am new.

I found a pretty cheap OEM for VW Parts. Well I can't say that all parts are but for my daughters Golf MK3 I picked up a New OEM Front Left Window Reg from the US for under AUD$75.00 delivered.

I put it in on the weekend and it works well.

The Website address of the company that sells them is http://www.hamburgtechnic.com/ and it seems they sell quality parts.

I was quite happy with the price as the wrecker quoted me 175 for a second hand one or 225 for an OEM equivalent.

The part I bought from the US was US$32.00 and US$35.00 delivery.

I thought it was a bargain!

The genuine ones from VW aren't all that much more than that. Given that they break every 10 years I didn't mind paying for an OEM one and knowing it was never going to break for another 10 years.

Still if the after market ones are any good I'm always up for saving a few $$, mind you half the problem is when they break it's always down, local OEM might be more expensive, but at least it's right now and I can continue to drive to work in the rain.
