Where's my paint code?

Other than the sticker under the carpet in the boot, and the sticker behind the driver's side headlight, how can I find my paint code? Neither of these stickers are present in my car and I have no manuals/logbooks/documentation. Is there any way of finding it through my VIN or simply by year & model?

Too right! & they have different names for the same code, too... Recently found out my 'silver leaf' is also known as 'white gold metallic' elsewhere!
