When you say it won't go down, is the motor going when you press the button but nothing is happening?
Drivers window won't go down, took out motor and regulator, all looked fine. Hooked it straight up to the battery and it went down but couldn't get it to go back up. Plugged it back into its connector and it went back up!? Could the switch somehow be stuck in the up position or something? Any help would be great !

No nothing happens when I press the up or down, no noise or anything. Could it just be the switch?
Try the passenger side switch on it and see if it works? Or you could test the switch with a multimeter. Then you can either confirm or rule out that it is the switch. If you're sure the regulator and motor is working, and the switch is okay, then the only thing left it can be is wiring
Do you mean pulling the switch from the passenger door and plugging it into the drivers door? Because I just did that and it moved the passenger window and I felt kinda stupid. The switch for the passenger window in the drivers door works. And I don't have a multimeter, what else can I try?
i had a similar problem the other week which i thought was a reg problem, it turned out to be a damaged earth wire..... try pulling off the black plastic tube/pipe inside the door jamb and inspect the wiring

Yeah those wires look ok, although the rest of the wires in the door look like a bit of a mess. I'll have a thorough look at the wiring tomorrow in the light.
