    Whats this?

I had a little leak here before which has now been fixed, the silver looking thing on the left hasn't got more oil on it so the leak is definately fixed, but underneather there is still some residual...

    Back here:

    Down here:

Is there anything in this space that could still be leaking that I'm missing or is it likely to still be residual leak?

Doesn't look very fresh, give it a degrease, drive it for a while and see what happens, that's the best way with oil leaks.

yeah, I did a quick and nasty degrease (in failing light), will have to give it another go over soon.

The broad photo looks very different to my engine bay. Is that a OBD2 throttle body? Whats the red tube/cable? Your oil overflow-bypass-thingy that feeds back to the intake has been DIY modded on your car, where does it go? Its the oil build up from this? There are other tubes and a plastic boxy thing that go from my intake to the right and back underneath (cant see where to). Your engine bay doesnt have these

It's a daily driver and the last time it saw a tub was before the Wollongong cruise (but will get a wash this weekend though).

I'll have to check out some other cars to see what's different and see if we can work out why

As for the engine bay... well, parts are quite clean, other parts are still dirty. It's just that last time I gave her a tub, I did the plastic parts under the bonnet with the Auto Glym Bumper Care and wiped down some of the stuff on top. Seems it doesn't get dirty that quick
