    Headlights

    Hey All,

    Quick question what are the numbers for the headlights o the mk3?

    H4?

    I bought H4's and they didn't fit they look like H3's

    Can anybody help?
    I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

    Do you mean the globe?

    There are two different types of H4 globe. P43t and P45t.
    P45t is for early Golfs and Beetles.
    P43t has three legs sticking out from the side.

    Yeah the globe it looks like a H3 globe as it has one prong and a wire that it is connected to it.
    I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

    H4 is dual filament and no wire.
    Do a search for a catalogue. (Narva, Philips etc)

    I know its not a H3 cause aren't fogs H3's?

    from memory the stoc vr6 headlights are H3s in both chambers arent they?
    I know when i got my twin round headlights i was able to re-use some H3s for the high beam and the new low beams were H1.
    so my vote is for H3. definately not H4s in the twin chamber headlights. cos u have two seperate beams

    What do they look like?
    Are they single filament or combined high/low beam?
    Do they have a pigtail?
    Do they have a plastic base?
