    I doubt regular plates would fit but you can now get US sized plates that wouldn't need a different letter combo.

    Don't think so, Iv got a Canadian tub for my Vento, don't have any normal plates to try.
    Aussie plates don't fit in jap recesses though

    yeh, they're us tubs and our plates are too long; As dylan stated, the jdm cars have a similar recess and they have to cut or bend their plates to fit. Queensland have a US plate option to buy that would fit but i'm unsure if other states have this also?

    Couldn't find anything suitable for any other states that would fit.

    Nsw has jap style plates that would fit. 5 character plates too

    Also the international and US ones, if stars and stripes are your thing...
