my AGG will rev to 6500 no problems, although power does tail off after 4500 but that will change in the coming months
My old 2e could definitely rev past 5, i think 6-something was it, but like others have said, it really didn't prove very useful
Doing so.

my AGG will rev to 6500 no problems, although power does tail off after 4500 but that will change in the coming months
so because my car definitely does not rev past 5000rpm, what should I do to fix it? and will it make things better in the rev range I normally drive in (upto 4000)? or is it not worth the effort since its pointless to rev above 4300?
if your car won't rev out to the indicated redline on the dash then either the ignition timing is out, or there is a fault with the Hall sender in the distributor.
the computer can only compensate for a few degrees of advance and retard. If the computer does not have the range to stop the knocking from incorrect timing, then it will limit the engine revs to 4500/5000.
This safety mode is the same also if the computer sees a fault with the hall sender.
