Cheers Floff, i'll start with the pass side and hope i don't waste time pulling my doors apart.

Yeah i'll do the air and oil filter too.
Might Flush out the coolant for some clean stuff too..
The pipes would defanatly need a clean.
    Thanks Jarred.

:S Wow. You'd think a digital Odometer would continue as normal?
VW must not have thought much of their craftsmanship, or maybe the driver's ability to keep it going that long, haha.
yeah it seems odd to me, im curious to see what happens with your mk3..... im still about 100,000 off reaching that mark

    Moment of truth!

What a milestone, my car is officially, relatively old
I may have gotten a little excited, beware your volume.

That was the moment of truth.
    Congrats mate, very intreresting.
Wonder if the MK4s do that as well or even other makes. Always thought it would make sense to go to 999999.
You now have a brand new car.....

My old GTI (ABF) was very nearing 300k, but I just sold it at 275, I was looking forward to hitting the milestone though. It honestly drove better then most other GTI's around with half the k's too, such a good engine.

Congrats on the milestone though! So has the little 'km' come back, or has it disappeared and just the numbers now?

Pretty sure none of the other marks do it either, just a Mk3 thing.. random huh

Haha thats very cool, random that it happens but I think its cool, heh. Im not even close in my car, its only like 120kkm

Is a good reminder to check when buying a new mk3 with supposedly low km's that that total light is on

My MkIII hit 300,000 a few years back and went straight back to zero but you will also notice the word "Total" goes missing.
