    Question Wat is that "Carbon Canister" thinga-ma-bob?!

    Its vaguely been answered in some other threads but not fully?

    What is it? What does it do? Is it important? and can we just chuck it?

    Ya know, the one that peeps move to the other side for extra air to the filter . . . ? Can i scrap it?

    the carbon canister is set for emission laws its a filter that vents petrol fumes from the tank and engine there is a fine if found without one $5000 from memory can run without it probly run better but i would leave it on

    Really?! So where-a-bouts do the tubes lead to excactly? I'm not sure they'd even know there was one there would they?! the tubes lead down towards the fire wall?!

    should be a vacuum line, a breather line for the fuel tank and i think 1 more but i cant remember... i disconnected it on my exa, so i could use the vacuum line for the bov...
