My quick excel turbo build, this was without approx 4-500 of ARP bolts and studs and a few other things, this was also done as the cheapest you could possibly get most parts. If you want to do it properly it gets up there.
sorry for the newbie qs, probs been asked multiple times,
VRT - why is every thread i read about budgets so damn high?
i don't want to build a race car or nothing, i'm not even aiming high, just want some down low punch + something fun to do.
can you slap a turbo on the car with the stock ecu and not mess around with anything?
i understand manifolds are hard to come by since most are lhd and even the rhd ones need modifications to work as i've read. but i was thinking of making a y pipe from the stock manifolds and throwing on a t3/t4 flange on, wack on a turbo suitable, oil feed/return blah blah.
bend up some piping for a intercooler.. yah yah. gumtree for a cheap intercooler..
will it work?
am i dreaming?

my car will be seeing boost in the future.
