Suitcase delete and cut airbox. Happy days
My VR6 has been off the road for almost a year. I ran out of patience with repeated coilpack issues, coolant and the aircon failed. Seemed to be burning the cash and then a few months later something else went wrong and another coil pack failed. Wasn't driving it that much either.
I resisted selling as I love this model and then decided to have go a fixing it myself.
Tried the epoxy fix on the coilpack and that didn't work, so bought a new one on eBay for $240
Bought some tools torx spanners and installed my coil pack and it worked
Even gave her a wash
Now I want to do the air box mod and maybe will be inspired to do more

good to get you back on board! where bouts in melb you living dude?
Am in based in Elsternwick - SE melbourne.
Did the airbox mod. Cut out two rectangle shapes so as I could always glue back if required. See photo below
Had trouble removing the internal pipe in the airbox so left that in. Does it make any difference?
Also bought a K&N filter and net result seemed to be much smoother acceleration and better noise over 3500rpm.
