    vr6 tranny

    ey guys my vr6 is auto when after been on the road for about 30min its gets stuk in 2nd gear does any one what it mite be? cheers need it on the road ready for sedf lol

    Ohhhhh...

    VR6 auto's are very weak/dodgy/broken. It may just be a simple service by an automatic transmission specialist you you may need a whole new reco box.

    There ya go it mite be something simple like that.

    I know Jace had a VR6 auto anf it was a headeache. He mite be able to shine some light on the matter!

    yeh i wanted to go turbo or s/c afta P plates but i gotta work out do i keep it auto? what can i do with auto keep to hold? or do i go man?

    Wouldn't be too many people in aus that you know much about tricking up a VR6 auto. Speak to Seb, I do believe he's done one though.

    Have a look on vortex, might shed some more light on the topic.
