Hi guys,
My VR6 recently started making this rattle sound from the engine.

Does this sound like a timing chain problem?

thanks mate, I'll look into it next time I go outside lol.
Any chance you know how much it costs to get these repairs done?
I paid $1600 for mine. I think this is a good ball park
Try disengaging the clutch and see if that eliminates the noise. THe gearboxes get a bit rattly sometimes. Im at 1560000 and my gearbox rattles a bit with the clutch engaged.

That's really hard to tell from that video, compared to others anyway. Is it more pronounced on the side you were filming?
I recently had a similar noise, thought it was chains, but after a bit of digging ended up being the water pump. Check out all the pulleys too, the noises are transferred through the block so can be hard to differentiate sometimes.
Hope this helps
