    I dont know which oil because i was change oil and filter at service, but i have noise before change oil and mechanic told me we can try change oil and oil filter - but after change noise is same.

    Is the noise like a whistling noise which lots of trucks make?cause mine was doing this and it needed a new fan belt which wasn't much fuss at all.

    i was spoke today with Jmac and look like it is chain tensioner. going to change asap

    I know my friend but Jmac is a best mechanic in Brisbane. I beleive his job 100%. I was visited about 20 mechanics in Brisbane and nobody know what is wrong with my engine. Jmac just open the bonnet and for 10 sec said what is wrong. Strongly recommended.

    Thanks mate hi is a very good guy and know all about vw vr6. i strongly recomended him to everyone. i will try to post pictures asap.

    I open my engine cover and plastic chain tensioner is broken and chain is moving about 10-15mm up/down and make noise. Time for big change. Picture comming soon.
