VR6 Starting Issue

Hi guys, this will be my first ever problem after owning the car for almost 2 years now.

In the past week, ill put the key in to start the car, start it, then it will rev for about 3 seconds then stall. After the second start and a little bit of revving it is fine.
This isn't a one off thing either, its every single time i start the car. I have a feeling its an electrical issue but then again - im not too sure.
If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

Idles fine after wards with no throttle?
When it dies does it die slowly and try to recover or turn straight off?

Most the time, but it does happen that it will shut off the second time too.
It starts, drops straight to about 700rpm, then drops instantly and dies.
Bit clueless where to look cause some days its fine and starts no problem then other days its just no luck at all..

Could just be some sort of idle stabiliser part that's about to break/jam up with oily crap.
