VR6 Seats

Fitted the Vr6 seats I bought from KMG Europarts today. Front and rears, sooo easy to fit. I'm happy with them, just trying to get the driving position right is a little tricky, I'm 6'3" so the Golf is not a perfect size. I'm at a loss as to what to do with my old seats? How does everyone like the seats in their Mk3's? I was gonna fit aftermarket seats, but i'm glad i didn't and will keep these ones. May consider getting them retrimmed in time, driver bolster needs to be redone at the moment.

i need some new seats...
how much did you pay for your vrsexys? and how do you find them, comfort-wise?

i seem to have the same problem with fitting inside lol. i'm only 6'1" tho. reason for new seats would be because the spongey bit on the right side of the side is breaking off (not the fabric - just the foam inside) and there is NO padding on the back.

I paid $200, I think i find them confortable, I mean..at the moment I just find em different. More supportive. I know my left knee is closer to the steering wheel for some reason, but the pedals are still the same distance away, oh and I need to take my wallet outta my back pocket now, cause the bolsters stab me in the a$$ with it otherwise!

I want to one day leather up the intreior of my VR, anyone know where i would go or how much it would cost roughly?

It depends where you go but they would roughly take something like 3 weeks to do it all.

During this time you might aswell do your door cards to.

Even better your car would be off the road, best to do some modifications i.e Short shift kit, manifold, turbo

Mine was done when I bought it so I'm not sure how much it cost. Im guessing a few thousand.
If I end up putting my car back to stock soon to sell it, I guess it wouldnt be impossible to do an interior transplant..
