    VR6 PCV (breather) system

    hi guys,

im very confused as to how VW has set up the breather system on my 96 VR6...

mine has the common split hose where it connects to the valve cover.
On most other cars you usally see the pcv valve connected to the intake manifold after the TB and another hose running to the rocker cover from the intake before the TB...

but on the VR6 it only seems to have one entry/exit...is this right?

yeah it looks like that except it is split...
seems like vw like to do things their own way which is confusing when u dont have a repair manual to look at...

whats also stupid is the fact that the thing that the plug connects to has no terminals and actually performs no function whatsoever...

My plug has just been cut off haha. Btw theres a breather setup for sale on either ebay or gumtree. 50 bucks if i remember correctly and that gets you a spare black intake hose too (they always **** themselves over time).
