    Vr6 over heating

Lol ...after a late night. I am suck on the m4 west bound waiting for a tow.
Anyways, The beast is over heating but the water level is with in range. I would think my thermostat is busted, my entire set of coolant hoses with new g12+ is only 2 months old. It has been working beautifully up until now.

What else could it be guys? Any thoughts ?

    What is it actually doing?
What makes you think it's not the thermostat?
Waterpump maybe? Has yours been repalced with a nice metal one yet? Possible blockage with bits of the old plastic one?

Well the water temp reached on 110'C with the fan spinning crazy. water pump would have been my next thought. I am hoping it is easy thermostat problem. If so, should I take out the thermostat and leave it idle to see if it over heats?

Progress... It is definately a blockage, water is boiling with hot upper radiator host and stone cold lower radiator hose.

I have my money on the thermostat. Hopefully I have answered my own question.
