VR6 immobiliser issues

hey all,



ive run into a problem, my car died on me yesterday so i pulled over and tried to start it again. it cranked and fired but the fuel pump relay started ticking like mad and the engine kept cutting out and dieing.

i got it home on the back of a tow truck and pluged in my vag com.

the relay has stoped ticking and now the car would just die from the immobiliser.

i got errors:


17978 - engine start blocked by immobiliser
p1570 - 35-00--

01177 - engine control unit
65-10- unauthorized - intermittent

00546 - data wiring faulty
27 - 00- implausible signal

ive tried:

cleand the terminals to the immobiliser

cleaned the ecu pins

checked the ecu chip was in place (giac)

cleaned the engine Earth point.

tried the spare key

transponder coil is at 7 ohms (dont know if this is useful or not)

i dont know what to do next


The car starts if i disconnect the battery and touch the terminals but wont start up the second time as the immobiliser kicks in.


has anyone got any ideas or had this problem before ive been searching the web for hours and still have to conclusive results.

ok so problem has been resolved,

turns out i had to recode the immobiliser to the ecu with vag com and done.

very odd
