Easy. Disconnect the fuel line and add a fuel pressure gauge inline and check to see the reading. Dont know what normal reading would be tho but thats how u do it

figuered as much, just wern't sure if there is a special procedure for these things.

Anyone know what a fuel pump is worth for a VR6, or if an aftermarket one is availible, of any are interchangeible or adaptible.

    wheres the fuel line at?

I had my fuel pump replaced when I had issues with hot start ups. muller & muller replaced it for something around the 400$ mark! what a rip.

Fuel line goes from the cap under the boot carpet and runs along the drivers side. The fuel filter is visible just infront of the rear wheel well so its hard to miss. Prob best to get from US since stuff ther eis so cheap! Or if u need it right away a 2nd hand one.

Try taking the fuel line off in the engine bay and turn the ignition on. If fuel comes out you have fuel.

Or jus put the back seat down and listen.

I`d get a battery pack and apply power to the two big terminals on the pump, under cover in boot. If the pump pumps and you can then start the car, I`d go after fuel pump relay or fuse.

Relay no 167 is usually the culprit.
