    it sounds like a buzzing sound..if u know where the fuel pump is, its very distinctive

    yeah, mine is silent. i dont think it's working at all.

    relay is working fine.

    Check you are getting power at the connector at the pump. Red/yellow from memory. THing is ive had 1 where we had power at the pump but it was still silent which would indicate the pump WRONG! the connection was lost between the connector at the tank and the pump itself in the tank. Myself i think this was a 1 off but consider checking if you do have power before you spend the mulla

    a vr6 fuel pump from what ive seen will usually start making a lot of noise instead of just dying?

    It did sound pretty loud on the cruise, i think i may have even mentioned it when i was scanning it at Lorne.
