vr6 heater core replacment

it took me 4 days to do my heater core.

I don't have a step by step guide anymore, it was on some corrado site.

it's a massive job. I didn't have too much problems with the dash, just screws and the sorts. the hard part comes after the removal of the dash. you have to remove the rebar which is attached by flushed blots to the steering column! after you have that sorted out, you then have to deal with hidden screws and clips around the ventilation system and heater core housing.

make sure you keep your workspace clean and tidy. I did finish with one weird looking part. hehe.

They are not left over parts, they are strategic parts removed for weight saving/performance reasons.

well every one it seems i finally did it i succesfully removed a dash and put it all back together
i only managed to break a few plastic bits and didnt have any foam for the vents so i used blu tak it seemed to do the trick

i took me ages, off and on very hard to find motivation lol
thanks too mr loon i now have a glove box and a brand new heater core which sits quite nicely

i was a bit lazy with the photos though i didnt take any sorry for all those diyer out
at times i wished i took photos but got it together finally

Just for info Guys you dont need to fully remove the reobar or those snap off bolts if all you are doing is the heater core. I just loosten the reobar and lay it down without removing the cursed snap off bolts. I only take them off to change a pedal box.
