    My VR6 could get into that 300km range... but that was driving to and from the train station, cold and through suburbia. It's just the way it goes (with all cars) when doing short, cold trips and is exacerbated by giving it some... which I may have done from time to time... (like from the time I came off the brake to the time I stopped )

    hahaha that might be one of the issues hey. Just too much fun to drive.... Oh and it sounds the best revving out at 6.5 grand Sitting at 260km with the bar at one quarter left.

    I could have bought a tdi Passat wagon, but chose my 4Mo as you just cant beat the roar of the narrow angle, just cant. It loves a drink but i love making it do so!! Then when the Golf is fixed ill have 2 ( greedy bstd!!)

    I'm lucky if I get 250km/tank, and the most I've ever put in is 50L

    Holey crap thats awesome. Do you do alot of highway stuff? Wait... shouldnt you be putting 95 or 98 octane in? I always go 98.
