OEM = Original equipment manufacturer, not machine. Wouldn't normally correct that, but this is a VW forum, spirit of the Germans...

Suitcase delete sounds decent, very nice mid revs under load. BUT I find it a tad droney at motorway speeds and a bit farty around carpark speed, I'd choose a replacement more free flowing middle muffler and a different back box.... although thats what I did (cheers Ki11z) and it's louder than just a suitcase delete.

Ben of all the mounts that come with a go pro... you're the worst one.

Ben : With all the induction muds and suitacases did you have a chance to check the performance ? OR was it mainly all the sound ?

I'm thinking of doing something similar like you guys said but the last thing i want to lose is low end torque. So far i'm thinking that the CAI and maybe the extractors changed for better performance.

I think people miss the main key of driving in comfort but lately it seems that everyone wants a better sounding car to justify it though. Each to their own. haha.

Thanks for that, work with computers all day. So ended up referring to machine instead.

There isnt much to be gained from putting on extractors, as far as I know thete is only one set you can buy that actually makes power, theyre expensive with tuned length pipes and such, the cheap hottuning ones just make some more noise, mighy actually lose a little power even. Porting the stock exhaust manifolds and having the downpipe backwelded and porting that too gets more gains than most extractors, I did this too and it was definitely worth while.

These vr6 motors make one of the nicest noises of any engine in the world in my opinion, especially when they have some intake and exhaust mods, so I believe its well worth doing, even if it is just for sound. Making the engine breath easier can't hurt anything if you do it right, but wont make massive power differences until you've fixed the more restrictive parts (such as the head, which is the biggest problem on these motors)

I'm with Ben on this one. the VR6 is sound like no other.
Additionally, the extractors only start making any gains, after you have upgraded camshafts and Shrick or VSR intake installed as well.
