VR6 "drops" suddenly when clutch is pressed under load

Hi, I noticed something weird with the VR yesterday after pulling out of BP. I shifted hard into second and hada strange "dropping" of the front of the car when I pushed the clutch in. Today the car seems to be running a little weird too, in addition to this dropping on the front of the car when I depress the clutch.

It wont do it if I slowly push the clutch in on low revs. Any ideas people?

check your front engine bracket mount.. don’t drive it till you check it out! i think you might be in for a surprise! They tend to break… happened to me and few other VR’s

Not so much a knocking sound, but you feel the front of the car drop suddenly.

    eek... will do.

Just checked then, can't see to much wihout jacking it up.

I did notice however that there is a bunch of oil coming from the filter cover thingo...

I think I may need to book it in to see Joe ASAP.

take off the front Vent on the drivers side.. look through it.. might help

and looking at the engine from the top, does it look slightly tilted?

Theres also a strange intermittent hissing when you give it a little, in addition to the oil around the filter housing... Related methinks.
