    VR6 Brake replacement, prices?

I'm doing a bit of shopping around at the moment for new pads and rotors all around for a Golf VR6 1997 (that's the later 288mm front rotors), looked a few Audi TT upgrade kits, but really OEM is fine.

What sort have prices have you dubbers found? I'm looking at doing the ol' ESC trick, but something local would be easier/better to support.

ECS offer the kit to do 312mm at the front and 280mm in the back which is cool, but I really don't need them the car always stopped with aggression.

At the moment, ECS random brand pads and Brembo discs are looking like the best value.

If you are coming tonight i'll show you my slotted ones that I got fitted with Bendix's new "black" range of pads... Amazing stopping power. Can't remember the dimensions of the rotors but they pull up a treat. Gave them a hiding around Mt Nebo, Mt Mee and Mt Glorious and they just kept going... All for new rotors and pads i think was like $600. and its all local too... thats inc labour cause i'm a lazy bastard
