    VR Intakes

    Hi All,

Open for discussion, are these any good?

    http://www.performance-cafe.com/prod...01338aa0df4c70

I had a look at this one through Performance Cafe, but just wanted to know other peoples thoughts aswell! Whats the chances of it sucking up kinda thing? I have the lower air ducts down the bottom however I still need to move the horn out of the way cause its in the way

But I would like to know if anyone is running one and are they worth it?

Water ingestion may become an issue.

I'd prefer a BMC CDA or DIA myself.

either modify stock airbox or if u want the noise go with the BMC CDA.
DIA I think is the same thing. Just a cheaper version not made from CF.

Ive gone with the stock airbox so far with my car as there hasnt been much to gain other than noise for the dollars you need to spend

    Go the Drift CAI:

It's cheap and effective. At the end of the day I question the difference between this one and the BMC one. I do wonder what the *real life* differences in power would be. At a guess I would say approximately two fifths of bugger all.

I reckon maybe three fifths of stuff all would be more accurate

OK, I"ll concede that the carbon fibre in the BMC one is most likely lighter than the "carbon fibre" in the Drift one. (although it may even be real carbon fibre, I'm no expert).

More or less a plastic version of the CDA. I havent got any prices but i'd expect it to be way, way cheaper.
