    Exclamation Vibrating Noise

    Hey all dubbers,

I have a problem with my front left wheel. When the car is in motion it vibrates I have no idea. Me and my dad checked out the wheel on Saturday, thought it might be the adapter but it wasn't. When the car is rolling forward or even going at about 80khm, it still vibrates abit. When I put my foot on the brake it stops making the sound

I have no idea what it could be, can anyone help me.

warped disc or pads are worn out.if you apply the brakes and it stops ,its the brakes im sure!! also, did they balance the rims/tyres??

    Manufacturing defect? Bolts loose?

Try swapping the wheels around. See if the problem moves.

because you have moved the center of gravity out(spacers)now you have excentuated the problem.

when discs are warped u can usually feel it thru the brake pedal when u press it.
Perhaps its just something simple like a wheel weight that has come off and the wheel is now out of balance. id take it back to the place that did the install for u and ask them to check it.

I have not done an alignment yet, have not had the time. But the wheels are balanced.

I will Tomorrow morning I'll get a wheel balance done and ask them.

It stops when I apply the brake. Its annoying.

have you checked to see that the bolts are not loose, all it takes is for one bolt to be loose and it will vibrate like that...it happened to me on my mk2

Sounds like a loose wheel to me.

When I get new tyres, I just take the wheels to the tyre shop as I don't let them touch the car. But I'm paranoid!

(Tyre fitters are generally pretty low on the evolutionary chain)
