    vento gli

just picked up a pretty much mint vento gli. only thing is the two rear window regulators seem to be broken as usual. anyway, the badge on the back says it's a vento gli classic and it has a speedo that shows mph in the inner circle and kmph on the outter circle. is it normal to have a speedo like this? i didn't know there was a model named the vento gli.

the car also has the absolute worst imitation woodgrain trim stuck on the dash, was this an option? because i've seen it on other golfs i've seen online.

the car is white so the aim is to get it looking something like this in the end, does anyone know what wheels these are?

It's a weird car, i can't get over the sticker wood grain trim on the dash.

I can't decide whether to rip it all off or keep it as some sort of ironic gaudy rare feature.

I will chuck up some pics as soon asap

yeah its kinda cool and tacky at the same time.
can still buy the woodgrain as new old stock from time to time.

If its OEM woodgrain it would be worth a **** ton from memory? Distinctly remember chromewolf (BATMK3's) explaining its super sought after.

It's not actual woodgrain it's literally a normal mk3 interior with woodgrain effect stickers stuck on to it. is that what you're talking about? i can't believe that would actually be worth money

Removing the front brake calipers too?

The speedo sounds normal, mine is like that too.
