    Vento bonnet

Ok, so if you all don't already know. I want a vento bonnet BAD! It's holding up alot of stuff I want to do to this car! As I need paint real bad! Does anyone have a lead at all? I almost bought a ****ty one on eBay just to steal bits off it but I don't want to kill a surviving one! I only need the bonnet and maybe lights (but I can get those easy enough)

They're not particularly easy to find around here :/ I've been looking into getting a brand new one, in the states you can get oem ones for $60 brand new! been sussing out shipping though and cant find much under $500 though -.- still, 550 would probably be cheaper then buying an entire vento just for its bonnet.

May be worth seeing if a vw dealer can get one and what it would cost. I've just started working in the parts department (at Mitsubishi though) and a lot of body panels and such are actually surprisingly cheap. Couldn't hurt to make an enquiry.

you can get them from ECS for $78 Home Page > ES#305223 Hood - 1HM823031F but they dont list an option for shipping it, you may need to contact them and see if they can work anything out.

or from my favourite place to get OEM parts, https://www.1stvwparts.com/partscat.html for $58.56! They're actually a vw dealership parts department but also do they're thing online and have some very good prices for things. Not sure if they ship out of the US though, last time I used them I was also using shipito which is a parcel forwarding company. Again I don't know if theyd be willing to ship one out as they are quite large and expensive to ship, but no harm in asking

Cant do a link to that one as the site doesnt work like that, but the part number is 1HM823031F. Just put that into the part number search bit and it will come up.

If it would be cheaper to get a few put on a pallet or something, I'd be very keen

try the ring around at some panel shops, and even VW spares parts.

you'll be surprised, but you'll be able to get a brand new one for like 3/400 non OEM, OEM will be a bit more, but might be easier and cheaper than overseas still
