    Upper intake manifold

Is there anything special that should be known about removing the upper intake manifold before I do it to clean it up a little?

Does the gasket need to be replaced? (where could you get one?)
Can if be done with pretty much everything else in place?

I had to get mine pulled off to get the rocker cover gasket changed and it did need a new gasket which I got from a VW stealer, about $40 from memory. I didn't do the job myself but remember you need those weird ass torx type sockets (can't remember what they're called)
