    Upgrading from a 1.8 to vr6

    So im going on holiday to japan. BUT, im coming back and buying a vr6 early next year. Just wanted input from some vr6 owners, how good is fuel economy, things to change when i get the car, just basic know hows to get the vr6 on the road proper and good before i start building it up. Thanks

    I had mine for about a year, and with a bit of hooning I averaged 9.8L per 100k's.

    Kept it stock though, so I can't help much with mods. Aha

    Window regs are always crapping out. Also I'd do water pump,aux drive belt and crack pipe. Keep an eye out for leaking heater cores too - that's a savage job to do.

    I averaged about 12l/100km around town in mine.
