I have bought much from German Auto Parts, for two engines that weren't sold in the U.S. The trick is to get onto vagcat.com (you will need to register) and compare between engines. Haven't failed yet. As said previously in this thread, many parts are common (the germans got to this idea well before Kaizen at Toyota), you can also check out the catalogues for parts suppliers (Bosch, Ryco, Mann etc.). Sounds like a lot of thinking hahaha. Does GAP combine shipping? There's a bunch of things I need and they seem to have most of it.

GAP certainly do combine shipping. They dont give you a shipping quote online though, and will just charge you exactly what they pay to have them shipped. Normally works out cheaper than most companies who have the online shipping calculators. Their service is great too, if you have an questions theyre always happy to help, and always get things sent out very quickly. I love GAP
