You're not dealing with big changes so I'd strongly suggest test fitting onto an OBD2 before going to all of the trouble.

But yeah, you'll have to either change brakes or grind down your calipers depending on how much clearance you need, if you really need 10mm, taking a grinder to your brakes wont be the solution. A combination of a small spacer to the front, an angle grinder to the brakes and a good pull of the gaurds might be needed. Might want to space the back out a little to keep it even aswell.
hmm makes sense . ive order hub centric spacer which will arrive in a week or 2 have to wait for that . the 9s sit so nice on the rear fell in love with the car once agen lol im thinking of stretching toyo proxes 4 : 205/40s all around.ill put up pics as soon as i get home on the pc. car should be resprayed (same colour) + new rims and slapped in the next VDUB,stanceworks meets cant wait so excited.

How big of a spacer do you have? how much poke do you have?

A 205/40 is alot of stretch, especially for the front wheels, IMO.

If you're getting it resprayed then get your arches pulled and run a spacer on the rear.....?

i gotta wait for my 10mm spacers to arrive which is about 2 weeks.and then ill decide from there if i dont want spacers and just change the brakes to 288mm or get bigger or smaller spacers.i cant really do much with it now.

I have no doubt the rears look nice, but the fronts won't look the same. Good luck with it anyhow.
