Tow Bar on a MK3

Hi Guys,

Im looking to put a Tow bar on a MK3 and dont want to pay $500 to the local Tow bar place - prefer to do DIY to keep it in budget

Any ideas what other makes will fit onto a MK3 - have been keeping an eye out on the trading post and ebay for some time now without luck.

any advice appreciated - as usual

there are oem ones not sure how much they are though

I got a quote from the folks at Chatswood (Hayman Reece resellers - I had them put a tow bar on a Voyager) - same dollars $500 fitted - too much as I want a tow bar on the Golf more for the convenience

I'll update if I find a good solution
